Hotel Uitonniemi
Hotel Uitonniemi is located on the shores of Lake Kemijärvi, just a short walk from the town centre. Built in 2009, the log-built hotel has six quiet 2-3 bed rooms on two floors, and an idyllic Aitta apartment upstairs for 4-6 people.
In summer, the Uitto Café serves refreshments and local delicacies in addition to the restaurant on request. From the magnificent 100m2 terrace you can admire the lake landscape with its hills all the way to the evening sunset.
We are easily accessible by night train, with our accommodation just over a kilometre away. The bus station is 400m away. You can also get a ride from the train station and from Rovaniemi and Kuusamo airports.
Our cosy rooms have a kitchenette with kettle, coffee maker, fridge, microwave and dishes. Standard amenities also include a TV, modern bathroom, underfloor heating, ironing facilities and a hairdryer. Each room has free high-speed wireless internet access. The room rate includes breakfast at the Uitonpirtti restaurant, bed linen and towels.
On a summer day, you can swim in Lake Kemijärvi from the sandy beach or the pier of the lakeside sauna. Hotel Uitonniemi’s lakeside sauna and sauna chamber are available to guests on request. In the traditional lakeside sauna you can enjoy the soft sounds of the wood-fired sauna. The sauna chamber is also suitable for overnight stays and small meetings.
Uitonniemi’s ambience is in a class of its own for creating a special atmosphere. Our facilities are suitable for a variety of uses, such as birthdays, weddings, meetings and training courses, as well as corporate recreational events. Our bespoke restaurant will create delicacies for your event using local ingredients. The Uitonpirtti can be booked for 45 people, the Wanha Aitta for 60 people, and the lakeside sauna and sauna chamber for 12 people. You can also rent the whole area for private use.

Hotel Mestarin Kievari
Mestarin Kievari is a cosy hotel in the centre of the idyllic Kemijärvi, a lakeside town in Lapland. The hotel is half an hour’s drive from Pyhätunturi and Suomu, two of Lapland’s best ski resorts.
The hotel’s restaurant serves a popular buffet lunch on weekdays. The extensive daily lunch buffet offers a variety of salads, cold fish platter and hot dishes. An excellent à la carte menu offers local Lappish food as well as specialities. Lapland à la carte restaurant. The restaurant has been awarded the Chaine des Rotisseurs labels.
Morning passengers can enjoy breakfast in the restaurant until 10am. In addition, evening passengers can dine in the restaurant until 18:00.
The hotel has 21 cosy rooms, some suitable for families, some with private sauna. The hotel has WLAN internet access.
Electric car charging point
At Hotel-Ravintola Mestarin Kievar you can refuel both your family and your car. Two electric car charging points were installed in the hotel’s parking area a couple of years ago. The charging points at Hotel Mestarin Kievari are for everyone travelling in Kemijärvi. Charging is completely free of charge for hotel and restaurant guests. All you have to do is ask at the customer service desk.

Hotel Kemijärvi
Hotel Kemijärvi is centrally located north of the Arctic Circle, in the centre of Kemijärvi, Finland’s northernmost town. Hotel Kemijärvi is a good base for visiting as many fells as possible.
Our hotel has a total of 38 rooms, of which 5 are for one person, 30 are for two people (8 have an extra bed) and 2 are for three people. In addition, 1 combo room / family room / 2 adults + 1-2 children
Prices include breakfast, tax, WIFI, sauna, and the possibility to play billiards. Each room has a TV, fridge, shower, toilet, (some rooms also have a bath).
Economy room rates do not include bed linen or breakfast. Guests can rent bed linen or use their own sheets and buy breakfast separately.
Guests can enjoy tea or coffee in the restaurant in the evening, and use the microwave.
Meeting facilities are available for groups of different sizes. Training and meeting facilities can be tailored to the customer’s needs. Wireless broadband and video projector rental are available. A flipchart and projector are also available. Coffee, snacks and meals can be provided in the meeting rooms. The meeting rooms are suitable for 10-15 people. In addition, sauna facilities for 30 people are also available for hire.

Hotel Suomutunturi
Going on a skiing or downhill skiing holiday to Kemijärvi? In Finnish Lapland, in the middle of large forests and ghostly wilderness, you will find the legendary Hotel Suomutunturi. Suomutunturi has excellent slope and piste profiles and the quality accommodation is sure to leave no one cold.
The renovated Suomutunturi hotel offers a unique view directly onto the slopes, where children can safely enjoy the winter. Accommodation options range from 35 square metre De Luxe rooms to 70 square metre suites. Alternatively, you can stay in a chalet holiday home, which can accommodate up to eight people at best.
