Camping Kemijärvi is located in the town centre on the shores of beautiful Lake Pöyliöjärvi. The town’s events and services are within walking distance. On beautiful summer days you can enjoy yourself on the sandy beach. Kemijärvi’s fishing waters are also within your reach. The area has electric hook-ups for caravans and motorhomes, as well as a tent area. There is a kitchen and maintenance building and a sauna. The lakeside offers boating, fishing and swimming.

Soppela Sewa Beach Camping

The beautiful village of Soppela is located about 10 kilometres from Kemijärvi town centre. The campsite is situated in the grounds of the village’s former school, offering visitors a charming and historic setting with 14 pitches for motorhomes and caravans, 15 tent pitches, a handicraft and art café, a sandy beach, a 1.2 km illuminated fitness trail/cross-country ski track, and a beach volleyball court right next door.

The campsite is an excellent choice for families with children and enjoys a great location between Kemijärvi and Suomutunturi. Pyhä, Luosto and Salla are also easily accessible from Soppela. In summer, the beach offers stunning views of the sunset, while in winter, the grounds provide an excellent setting for watching the Northern Lights.

Holiday village Kuukiuru

At Kuukiuru Holiday Village you will spend a relaxing and peaceful holiday. The location of the holiday village is excellent. Pyhä – Luosto National Park is only 15 minutes away and the centre of Kemijärvi is only 20 minutes away. There is also a caravan and tent area in the Kuukiuru area.

Tapionniemi Village Manor

Discover local village life by staying in an idyllic former school, built in 1932, in what are now the apartments of the Village Manor. There are also 5 caravan parks for short-stay accommodation. Bookings are made through the Matkaparkki.com app, which can be downloaded to your smartphone from app stores. The nightly price includes the park, clean water and an outdoor shower. There is a playground for children, and about 500 m from the Kemijoki River there is a pier and a shed. For a small extra fee, you can also book a shower, a yard sauna, a laundry area and a barbecue hut.

There is now an electric car charging point for two cars, Plugit, 22 kW, in the yard of Tapionniemi Kyläkartano.
