Joutsijärvi K-village shop and lunch café

Joutsijärvi village shop is the last village shop in Kemijärvi. It was established in the 1950s along the old Kuusamontie. In the mid-1960s it moved to its present location along the new Kuusamontie. It is a family business, now in its third generation.

Joutsijärvi K-village store offers a selection of grocery products. The store has everything you need. The lunch café serves lunch and delicious doughnuts with coffee. The shop’s doughnuts are already famous in the country! The SEO fuel station is a convenient place to fill up both cars and snowmobiles. The area is easily accessible from Kemijärvi, Suomutunturi, Salla and Kuusamo snowmobile routes.

The cheerfully serving shop is a handy place to buy and replenish your food stocks on your way to the cottage. You can also order transport to the nearby and Suomutunturi area.

And the village shop is an attraction in itself. Near the shop are also the wartime concrete bunkers, a popular local attraction.

Café Parrunpätkä

Café ParrunPätkä is located in the centre of Kemijärvi, in the square of Heaven’s Fire along Jaakonkatu. We bake fresh buns every day; one of the most popular is the traditional Kemijärvi kampanisu or torttu. We also offer gluten-free products and make baked goods to order.

We also welcome larger groups to ParrunPätti, in which case we prefer to receive orders in advance. We are involved in organising marketplace events and daily events, which can be found on facebook and in the city’s events calendar.

Our café also has a working internet connection and is suitable for telecommuting.

Bakery café Kiuaspulla

Kiuaspulla serves both individuals and businesses with its bakery products. In addition to craftsmanship, we value the first-class taste of our products, which is why we use only the best domestic ingredients.

As a new service, we have also expanded our café operations. This allows us to offer our customers a truly fresh taste experience – directly from the bakery. The café service also includes a soup lunch every day (on weekdays) – of course, fresh bread from the bakery to accompany the soup.

Our products can also be ordered to surrounding areas. We deliver them within the framework of our own transport. And holidaymakers can order products in advance and pick them up when they arrive (e.g. cottagers from Suomu, Pyhä, Salla and Luosto).
