Soppelan Old School Art Café Seva Beach Camping

The beautiful village of Soproda, just over ten kilometres from the centre of Kemijärvi, invites tourists to an art gallery-café and a new campsite. The village’s old school on the shores of Kemijärvi has a “boutique” campsite with ten caravan sites and 15 tent pitches. There are also various types of accommodation in the school buildings.

The summer café will have art on display and will host a variety of themed weeks. There is a sandy beach and playground nearby. The area is ideal for families with children.

The village of Soproda is ideally located between the centre of Kemijärvi and Suomutunturi. The ski resorts of Salla, Luosto and Pyhätuntunturi are also in the vicinity.

Holiday village Kuukiuru

At Kuukiuru Holiday Village you will spend a relaxing and peaceful holiday. The location of the holiday village is excellent. Pyhä – Luosto National Park is only 15 minutes away and the centre of Kemijärvi is only 20 minutes away. There is also a caravan and tent area in the Kuukiuru area.

Tapionniemi Village Manor

Discover local village life by staying in an idyllic former school, built in 1932, in what are now the apartments of the Village Manor. There are also 5 caravan parks for short-stay accommodation. Bookings are made through the Matkaparkki.com app, which can be downloaded to your smartphone from app stores. The nightly price includes the park, clean water and an outdoor shower. There is a playground for children, and about 500 m from the Kemijoki River there is a pier and a shed. For a small extra fee, you can also book a shower, a yard sauna, a laundry area and a barbecue hut.

There is now an electric car charging point for two cars, Plugit, 22 kW, in the yard of Tapionniemi Kyläkartano.
