Jauri Arctic Lakeside Resort enjoys a peaceful location on the shores of Lake Pöyliöjärvi.
Less than a kilometre from the centre of Kemijärvi, food, services and speciality shops. Stay with us; exercise, get fit, treat yourself to a balance of soul, mind and body with our city and spa services.
We are easy to reach, 1.6, km by foot from the railway station and 1.9 km by car, about an hour’s drive from Rovaniemi airport (82 km).
We have accommodation all year round, well-equipped holiday cottages, each with its own shower, toilet, sauna and smart TV.
The restaurant on the shore of Lake Pöyliö has 150 seats and a large terrace area overlooking the lake. The restaurant’s lake menu offers local fish in various forms, for example, and local pastries can be enjoyed with coffee and tea. Ice cream and soft drinks for both children and adults.

Jauri cottages are 2-storey cottages, located right on the lake shore. The cottages have a surface of 97 m², 2 bedrooms with separate new beds. Each cottage has a sauna, a living room/kitchen and a fully equipped kitchen.
The cottages have beds for 6 people (4 single beds + 2 extra beds on a large sofa bed).
Vuopaja cottages are clean, comfortable cottages with beautiful lake views. The cottages are 46 m² in size, with beds for 4 people – the bedroom has 2 separate extra beds and 2 extra beds from the sofa bed. Facilities include a private sauna, living room and kitchen.
Karikko 12 is a traditional, clean and cosy beach cottage. The cottage has a surface area of 36 m².
Karikko 10-11 are traditional, clean and cosy beach cottages. The cottages have a surface area of 25 m². The cottages have beds for 2 persons (2 single beds), a small fully equipped kitchen, private sauna and TV.
All cottages have their own entrance.

Lapland Arctic Cabins
Cozy lakeside cabins in the heart of Lapland.
Lapland Arctic Cabins is located in Kemijärvi by the lakeshore of Pöyliönjärvi. This beachfront property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free Wi-Fi. Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with an outdoor fireplace.
All units come with a balcony with garden views, a fully equipped kitchen with a microwave and a fridge, and a private bathroom with shower. A stovetop and kitchenware are also featured, as well as a coffee machine and a kettle. Guests can dine in an outdoor dining area at the apartment. A private beach area is available on-site and in winter cross-country skiing can be enjoyed within close proximity of the apartments.

Suomun Chalets
Decorated in a modern Scandinavian style, Suomu’s Chalet Villas offer luxurious living comfort for families and groups of friends alike. The villas have two bedrooms and a loft with sleeping for two to four people and a private toilet. The spacious and cosy living room has a wood-burning fireplace.
The apartments include a fully equipped kitchen, a dining area, a private sauna and a bathroom with shower and toilet facilities. After the sauna, it is lovely to chill out on the Villa’s large terrace.
All Wools are allergy friendly. Pets are welcome in some of the apartments. The villas are 80m2 + loft 10m2 and can accommodate 6-8 people. Please be kind enough to inform us in advance if you have pets.
